We highly recommend visiting the Borromean Islands with their crowning jewel, Isola Bella. A ferry takes you across to the islands, where you can explore the Botanic Garden or the Baroque castle.
However, you may just decide to take a stroll. In just a few minutes you can reach the historic village centre. Saunter down the alleys and soak up the Italian flair. Especially on a hot day, it is a cheering thought that back at the Grand Hotel Majestic the pool is waiting for a refreshing splash.
Of course, you may also take a dip in the lake. Afterwards, dry off in the hot sun, maybe taking a little nap. An indoor pool is also available for a cold or rainy day.
And then, there is the Grand Hotel's Beauty Centre that has you looking radiant for the night and may also spoil you with professional massages. Alternatively, balance the sumptuous cuisine with a visit to the gym followed with a session in the sauna.
