Great attention to detail is apparent in every aspect of the hotel’s facilities. Only natural building materials were used when the hotel was constructed, an architectural device that allows the buildings to blend with their lush natural environment.

 

Of course, the Four Seasons Resort would not be complete without the first-class Island Spa. Truly an island of wellness, the spa is located on a small island at some distance from Kuda Huraa and can be reached by a Dhoni, the traditional boats, in a matter of minutes.

Living

The Beach Bungalows, every unit is 36 square metres large, meet these demands easily. Nestling amidst palm trees and natural vegetation and built with natural materials like bamboo, the bungalows give the appearance of a quaint fisherman cottage.

 

However, the interior betrays the luxury resort’s high standards. Situated directly on the beach, the interior of the independent units has been tastefully furnished and features an airy ambience and light colour scheme.

 

The Beach Bungalows are either equipped with a king-sized bed or with two individual beds. A finely appointed bathroom includes a separate shower, which gives the feeling of standing beneath a gushing, tropical waterfall.

 

Of course, a hairdryer and soft bathrobes are supplied. A modern air-conditioning system and a ceiling ventilator send a refreshing breeze blowing through the rooms.

 

The state-of-the-art technical equipment leaves nothing to be desired: A telephone, TV, video and CD player are part of the amenities, just as a safe, tea and coffee preparing facilities and a well-stocked mini bar are a matter of course.

 

However, the highlight is the 30 square metre large private sundeck. Settle down with an ice-cool drink from the mini bar in hand and indulge in the wonderful setting and the tropical sun caressing your skin.

 

Those who would like to raise the level of luxury by another notch may want to consider the Beach Bungalows with a private pool. Apart from the small pool (12m²) and the private sundeck (18m²), the bungalows partly feature an exciting, semi-open bathroom.

Relaxation, spa treatments or sports … when it comes to activities, choosing becomes hard work at the Four Seasons Resort. We recommend you explore a bit of everything the Four Seasons has to offer.

 

The read more » excellent Island Spa is situated on a separate island some way off the beach. A small boat, typical for the region, shuttles you across in no time. The first-class spa features an extensive range of wellness, body and beauty treatments – pure bliss!

 

However, those who prefer to spend their time actively are not short of options either. It goes without saying that the spectacular setting calls for a large variety of water sports.

 

Race before the wind on a windsurfing board, the spray flying. Alternatively, borrow one of the canoes or kayaks and paddle out into the lagoon for a spectacular view of the island and some quiet time out on the endless sea.

 

Of course, Kuda Huraa would not be the same without the spectacular underwater world. Don a mask and snorkel to explore the vibrantly colourful coral reef. A boat can take you out to the most popular and beautiful sites on the reef.

 

For a small charge, you may harness the power of a speedboat and try waterskiing. Surf and sailing lessons are another option for those on a quest to discover the wet element.

 

Incidentally, we recommend you to take some shoes or flip-flops that you can wear on the beach. Because of the nearby coral reef, parts of the sand beach are mingled with coral pieces.

 

If you paid attention, you will notice that one, if not the most popular, water sport has yet to be mentioned. Of course, the Four Seasons features its own multi-lingual PADI dive centre.

 

At a mere 20 to 60 minutes’ distance from the beach, a number of excellent dive sites await the hydrophilic adventurer. At the PADI centre, lessons for both novices and advanced divers are being offered.

 

Even the most experienced and ambitious diver will be thrilled by Kuda Haraa’s diving sites and the diversity of excursions that vary greatly in both difficulty and length.

 

A package including ten dives and all the equipment and necessary boat rides is available for as little as 750 Dollars.
