Far, far away, the deluxe hotel is located approximately 240 kilometres north of Cairns and 30 kilometres of the coast of North Queensland. The esteemed guests are accommodated in 40 luxurious rooms.

Tropical fish, giant clams and colourful coral! Blindingly white sand beaches and crystal-clear water – the setting is unsettlingly beautiful! Moreover, the world’s largest coral reef is just on your doorstep.
The best diving and snorkelling can be found on the outer reef. Less sediment ensures excellent visibility and brilliant colours. Floating pontoons provide a comfortable and safe basis for the underwater activities.
The catamarans offer the fastest ride to the outer reef. However, you may also set sails and point the bow due east on a yacht. No matter whether you choose romantic flair over speed or vice versa, both transfers are offered to you free of charge by the Lizard Island Resort.
Four islands are especially recommendable for their vibrant coral banks close to the beach: Heron Island, Bushy Atoll, Michaelmas Cay and Low Isle. Additionally, Dunk Island, Fitzroy and Green Island boast lush rainforests.
On your request, mainland trips can also be arranged. Visit Cape Tribulation, Port Douglas, Cairns or Townsville. However, you may also decide to just stay on Lizard Island and indulge in the fine food.
