After careful consideration, the location on the Moremi Wildlife Reserve’s border was chosen for its extraordinary beauty. The architecture ingeniously picks up natural elements and creates a flowing transition from man-made structure to natural splendour.
At the Sandibe Safari Lodge, the gorgeous setting and the sophisticated amenities of a first-class accommodation are fused into harmonic unity.
Of course, with only eight accommodation units, the lodge ensures absolute privacy. The ambience is at once unobtrusively luxurious and welcoming. Natural colours and materials underline the friendly feeling.
The guest units all boast two beds, ventilator and ensuite bathroom. A separate toilet and outdoor shower complement the facilities. The units open onto the stunning nature all around, commanding breathtaking views.

The options to explore these fascinating surroundings are equally diverse: Safaris may be conducted either in the form of traditional game drives, as guided safari hikes or in Mokoros, local dug-out canoes.
The andBeyond group employs only well-trained and enthusiastic guides, who introduce you to the region’s unique nature. Explore the world’s largest inland river delta and learn how to interpret the wildlife tracks.
Game drives are offered twice daily, in the morning and the evenings. The Mokoro safaris are a very different experience. Glide down the twisting waterways in complete silence and sneak up close to the wildlife, which at times remains completely unawares.
However, you may also explore the waterways and lagoons in the lodge’s Lily, a small wooden boat powered by a silent electric engine. Please note that the Sandibe Lodge is located on a waterway that permanently holds water and boat safaris are offered year round.
The water-based safaris are also perfect for birding. The Okavango Delta houses astounding 349 different species, an amazing diversity that ensures many sighting and superb pictures with just a little patience.
