Every single one of the ten exclusive suites has been carefully and meticulously designed and appointed with fine details. The Kichaka Lodge’s suites do not carry numbers but are instead named after one of several indigenous bushes planted around it.

 

Incorporating the traditional African style, the cottages have been constructed from natural stones and feature a thatched roof. The generous and clever architecture radiates a singularly airy ambience.

 

The views from the cottages onto the hotel’s property and the surrounding wilderness are magnificent. Traversing a beautifully landscaped garden, a winding pathway connects each suite to the main building.

Just one hour’s drive from the Port Elizabeth airport, the exceedingly luxurious Kichaka Lodge is hidden in the middle of the African bush.

A must-do is a daytrip to the world-famous Addo Elephant Park. Another well-worth excursion takes you to the neighbouring Grahamstown with its many picturesque churches, parks and historical buildings. On of South Africa’s oldest universities may also be found there.

 

Allow your mind to soar on a fishing, hiking or horse-riding excursion through the unspoiled nature. Naturally, for us it is a pleasure to take care of all organisational matters for you.

 

On a safari, experienced rangers will take you to the hidden haunts of lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalos, cheetahs, hippos, giraffes, zebras and countless species of antelopes to name just a few of the wild animals to be encountered on the 75 square kilometres large reserve.
