The De Tafelberg Guesthouse offers eight luxuriously equipped rooms that all command a magnificent view out over Cape Town or the soaring Table Mountain.

Two of the four Comfort Rooms are equipped with a cosy double bed and a spacious bathroom with a separate shower. The third unit features two single beds and a similar ensuite.

 

The last of the Comfort Rooms boasts a few extras: An extra-large queen-sized bed, generous bathroom with both a shower and a bathtub and a modern air-conditioning system to keep the temperatures pleasant year round.

 

The first of the Luxury Rooms is equipped with a queen-sized bed, large shower bathroom and a large, private terrace that is just perfect for admiring the gorgeous view.

 

The second Luxury Room features two single beds, air-conditioning and a shower bathroom. The third sports a queen-sized bed, air-conditioning/heating and an ensuite with both a shower and bathtub.

Drive read more » past the impressive Table Mountain to the Malay Quarter or visit Kirstenbosch. Those interested in Africa’s flora will certainly enjoy a visit to the excellent Botanical Gardens, while other may prefer the beach thrills at Camps Bay or Cliffton.

 

A ten minutes’ walk takes you to Kloofstreet, a great location to sip a drink or dine extravagantly after a long day of exploring the Cape region. Also within walking distance, visit the Company Gardens and its museums, the Parliament Building and the Greenmarket Square.

 

Those who enjoy being active in their holidays will look forward to a mountain bike tour through the surrounding mountains or to a round of golf on one of the many nearby courses. Then again, you might want take things slow, with a leisurely hike or some quiet fishing…
