A stay at the luxurious Hotel Caruso Belvedere is a rewarding experience at any time of the year. However, for the days of the festival, Ravello adds another measure of flair to its already abundant charm.

 

And then there is plenty more to see and do. The town’s cathedral is an architectural marvel and plenty of other churches, at San Giovanni del Toro, San Francesco and San Pietro, are also highly recommendable for a visit.

 

The Rufolo family has always done well in Ravello. On their initiative, the Villa Rufolo was built on a cliff above the sea as early as the 13th century. Today the spectacular villa is open for visits.

 

Furthermore, the Hotel Caruso offers a courtesy shuttle bus between the hotel and Amalfi as well as Positano - both worthy of a glowing recommendation. However, there is also plenty to do without having to leave the comfort of the Hotel Caruso.

 

At the cliff edge, high above the sea, the swimming pool is just perfect for a refreshing splash with a view. The poolside bar provides additional refreshment, both liquid and edible, specialising on South Italian delicacies.
