A visit to Mark's Square invariably includes leisurely sipping an espresso or cappuccino at one of the cafés while admiring the panorama and observing the bustling crowds. Another traditional activity is feeding the uncountable pigeons that populate the entire city but congregate on the square.

 

However, most importantly, you will need to visit the sensational St. Mark's Cathedral and climb its bell tower for a breathtaking view of the ancient city and glittering lagoon all around.
