For example, you might rent a canoe and paddle in and out of the island’s many bays. Alternatively, harness the wind on a windsurfing board or risk a skirmish with the waves, armed with a boogie board.

 

In order to uphold the quiet setting above all else, no engine-powered water sports are offered on Koh Lanta. The beach is perfectly suited for different ball games or to toss a Frisbee into the wind.

 

Koh Lanta is paradise. Set off to explore the startlingly beautiful island on an excursion and familiarise yourself with all its charming aspects. There are countless ways to travel up and down the island: hop atop a bike or even a gently swaying elephant or board a mini bus with an experienced guide.

 

Extent your range and visit the neighbouring island Koh Haa on an island hopping trip.
