The latest project of the award-winning Singita Group, the Sweni Lodge is situated on the banks of the Sweni River just like the other group’s property, the Lebombo Lodge in the Lebombo Game Reserve.
Having secured the only concession granted for the foundation of a private reserve in the middle of the spectacular Kruger National Park, the Singita Group was able to set Sweni Lodge into stunning scenery far off the beaten track.

the seemingly impenetrable wilderness. However, to the guest’s delight, lions, leopards and other wild animals again and again step out of the thick of the bush on their way to the river.
Vibrant green and soft ochre tones paint the 150 square kilometres large reserve. Many magnificent sights surprise the visitor first introduced to the breathtaking beauty of the South African savannah.
The Sweni Lodge is the perfect addition to the Lebombo Lodge located at only 250 metres distance as the rhino bird flies. Nestled among the trees lining the Sweni River, the Lodge radiates a very cosy and luxurious ambience.
Like all the other Singita Lodges, the Sweni Lodge is a proud member of the celebrated “Relais & Chateaux” collection.
The six Luxury Suites and the impressive main building set new luxury standards. Glass, steel and selected timbers have been skilfully combined to create a sensational design.
Glass creates transparency and transparency furnishes unity. The open design is airy, allowing for generous spaces. African design elements, warm ochre tones, Kudu leather and wicker work – the selected decorations summon the spirits of the savannah, creating an oasis of peace amidst the Kruger Park’s untamed nature.
The Sweni Lodge’s unique, open design lets the guest connect with nature which infuses every inch of the comfortable lodge.
It is hard to do the Sweni Lodge’s atmosphere justice with words only – it has to be felt, lived and cherished with all five senses.
