Living

The Hotel L’Archipel having been constructed on a slope, every room commands a stunning ocean view. The spacious (40 square metres) rooms are accommodated in small, low rise villas dotting the grounds.

 

Winding read more » pathways and short flights of steps through the beautiful gardens connect the villas to the main building. It is the most romantic spot to spend a few precious days at.

 

Each room features either a balcony or a terrace (twelve square metres large) which invites you to relax, letting your mind wander, your eyes resting on the endless ocean stretching out before you. It is heaven on earth!

 

The rooms all feature a bath with a shower and a separate toilet. Air-conditioning, mini bar, ceiling ventilator, satellite TV, telephone, safe, tea and coffee maker and a hairdryer round off the superior lodging’s list of amenities.

 

Those who would like to step up the level of luxury may choose the sumptuous Executive Suite. On more than 70 square metres it offers a separate bed and living room, a spacious bath as well as a separate shower, guest shower and toilet.

Activities

Diving trips and courses may be easily organised with a nearby diving partner. The Hotel L’Archipel also arranges entertaining excursions to all the exciting neighbouring islands like La Digue for example.

 

However, do not miss out on the opportunity to explore Praslin Island. The ideal means to exploring the island’s secrets are bicycles. Alternatively, you may, of course, rent a car or hike Praslin.

 

If you are not out of puff having swum, been on excursions, hiked and snorkelled, the hotel’s excellent fitness room is sure to provide ample opportunity for a decent work-out. Once a week, an entertaining show is being staged for the guests.

 

Please note:

 

From November through to March, a strong north wind may prevail which results in seaweed being washed upon the beach. At night, the distinguished guests are expected to wear an appropriate evening dress.
