Explore the Golden Triangle on foot and hike the mysterious mountains or travel down the mighty Mekong River on an adventurous boat ride.

 

One of the Four Seasons’ most popular activities is the elephant trekking tour. More than just a ride atop one of the gentle giants, they introduce you to the age-old tradition of caring for the big animals.

 

Having arrived at the elephant camp, you will be welcomed and taught the few golden behaviour rules around the elephants. Dressed in their traditional garments, the Mahout will prepare the elephants for their day’s work at sunrise.

 

You are more than invited to lend a hand: Lead the elephants down to the river for their early morning bath – wonderful images! Now, as the sun rises above the Laos mountains, it is time to set off and ride towards the new day’s dawn. It is an experience you will treasure for the rest of your life.
