The best thing, certainly, is to go slow and unwind. Stroll over to the resort’s library to peruse one of the quaint volumes of forgotten lore, snuggled up in one of the comfortable armchairs.
After that, why not stop by the gallery for a look at both the contemporary and classic Thai art? Paintings are only just part of the deal: admire the precious textiles, jewellery or woodworks. And, of course, you might well find the one or other portable memory or present for your loved ones at home.
The culinary delights served at the Amanpuri Resort have been mentioned.
