The luxury resort Beachcomber Shandrani is situated directly on the wonderful Blue Bay, whose name originates from the colour of the water.
While the water depth inside the coral reef belt measures only one to two metres, the outer bay is up to five metres deep, resulting in a dark blue colour, so fascinating, it becomes difficult to look away.

With a size of 45 square metres, the Superior-Rooms offer a one-bedroom accommodation option: bed and sitting corner are separated by two steps.
The rooms include either two double beds or a king-size bed, a large bathroom with a separate shower, separate WC and hairdryer. Standard amenities include a telephone, mini bar, safe, coffee and tea making facilities and a television with video channel.
Enjoy a fantastic view of the ocean or better still, admire the Blue Bay from your terrace/balcony.
The more spacious Deluxe-Rooms, with a size of 48 square metres, include the same standards but are situated in the new section of the hotel.
The Family Apartment combines the comforts of a Deluxe-Room with an additional room of circa ten square metres with a separate shower and television.
Measuring around 84 square metres, the lavish Senior Suites comprise a living room and bedroom on two different levels, separated by a few steps.
Not differing from the Superior Rooms with respect to design and decoration, Senior-Suites grant direct access to the beach from their private terrace/balcony.

Scuba divers and snorkellers greatly enjoy staying at the Beachcomber Shandrani, attracted by the Blue Bay with a water depth of up to five metres.
Those only expecting scuba diving sites for beginners read more » are wrong. The beautiful underwater world and amazing play of colours are fascinating show for all to enjoy!
The hotel includes a PADI-National Geographic Diving School, offering beginners and advanced courses. The highlight of the course, are the dives at the nearby outer coral reef, an ideal place for exploring the large diversity of this special ecosystem.
We recommend joining a guided tour of the Blue Bay, equipped with snorkelling gear – the trip is well worth it!
Naturally, the luxury hotel offers a wide variety of water sports activities such as waterskiing, windsurfing, sailing, canoeing, pedalo, and glass-bottom boat tours.
Considering the large range of water sports, the resort outdoes itself in offering at least as many land-based activities: enjoy the six floodlit tennis courts or a challenging game of golf at the 9-hole course (Par 27).
Bicycles may be rented at additional costs. We recommend taking part in the extensive sports and nature programme offered by the hotel, including mountain bike tours, abseiling and kayaking.
