Two beautifully designed swimming pools are perfect for a refreshing dip. Directly adjacent to the pools, a large sundeck allows you to dry off in the hot, tropical sun. A shallow pool guarantees a lot of fun for young non-swimmers.

 

Needless to say that every accessory is readily supplied by the Kurumba Hotel. Beach towels, deckchairs and sun umbrellas are available as a courtesy, both by the poolside and at the beach.

Living

All of the Kurumba Maldives’ 180 bungalows and villas are evenly distributed amidst the lush tropical island’s stunning beauty, never further than a few steps from the pristine beaches.

 

Build with read more » solid timber, the units feature fine Teak board flooring and are most elegantly furnished. A fascination with details and a sense for gracious design are apparent in every aspect.

 

The individual bungalows are generous 50 square metres large, allowing for a spacious Deluxe Room as well as a separate seating area and a semi-open bathroom, shower and toilet. The private balcony or terrace commands a stunning view of the endless blue ocean.

 

Taking the edge out of the tropical heat, an air-conditioning system provides a refreshing breeze. Other facilities include a telephone, television, safe, hairdryer and soft bathrobes.

Activities

The coral reef is incredibly colourful and teems with underwater life. Those who are not familiar with donning serious diving gear may nevertheless enjoy the marine beauty on a snorkelling trip.

 

Having had your fill of excitement, stop by the island’s large and excellent Kurumba Spa, which fuses Fareast and Western wellness lore into a harmonious concept.

 

A large range of sophisticated treatments is available. Revitalising minerals, sea plants and local flowers and herbs are applied, their rejuvenating properties said to be working both on body and soul.
