Living

All of the Baros Maldives’ 75 Luxury Bungalows feature finest comforts and a graceful elegance. The units either rest on platforms out in the lagoon, or are located directly on the picture-perfect beach.

Activities

The Baros Maldives Resort is a diver’s dream come true: The local reef is at a distance of only 25 metres from the beach and the outer reef is a mere 10 kilometres away.

 

A speedboat shuttles divers read more » across to the outer reef in less than 25 minutes. Those interested in learning the art of safe diving or acquiring new skills can join one of the local dive school’s courses.

 

Of course, the local reef is also perfect for snorkelling. Another option: the lagoon provides optimum conditions for surfing beginners.

 

Set sail on a catamaran and cruise the Indian Ocean and the countless islands or paddle out onto the lagoon in a canoe and enjoy a quite hour with just the ocean and the view of the island for company. Back at the beach, deckchairs and beach towels are available.

 

The Baros Maldives would not be complete without its exclusive spa. The Sense Spa specialises in Balinese massages and sophisticated beauty treatments. However, many other therapies, mostly based on Asian lore, are available.
