The so-called Bandas are situated beneath the first trees of a forest in the foothills of the mountains. Inspired by the Bedouins, the Arabian style is both highly elegant and exceptional.

The result is stunning. The Nomad Greystoke Mahale’s small but exquisite Bandas are snug hideaways, the perfect place to relax at after a long and exciting day discovering the wonders of Tanzania.

Each Banda features an open front and a private viewing platform that most guests quickly adopt as their favourite spot. Every time of the day, every change in the climate lends the deck and the scenery a new, fascinating ambience.

It is just the right place to kick back and relax, pure bliss for the soul. The deck is accessed adventurer-style via a small ladder that is located at the Banda’s side.

The bathrooms, located in the rear part of the Banda, are a delight and make getting up in the mornings a pleasure. Enjoy an early shower with a view of the lush vegetation and gently swaying palm trees.
